Please call me “Ms. D.”
I earned my Master’s degree from Florida Tech and Bachelors in Arts degree from Eckerd College. I have my Professional Educator's Certificate in grades K - 6. I have been fortunate enough to have a broad range of experience in many facets of a student’s academic and personal development and understand the challenges that may exist. I continue to be an active community volunteer for the past ten years, as a literacy volunteer and visiting those in need with my dog Tater. I am also on the board of directors for a local nonprofit which benefit animals in need.
I am proud to be part of the Plato Team, this being my 8th year at Plato Academy. I am committed to higher education as a teacher and value the opportunity to contribute my experience and expertise to your child’s academic life.
My aspiration for this year is to encourage our students to explore for answers, to inspire them to take up and continue a journey of knowledge and foster their independent thinking. I love opening doors and having students discover how wonderful learning can be.
